This event, organised by Xstructures, an authorised reseller of Seismosoft products, in collaboration with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) of the Philippines, will take place on March 25-26, 2025, at The Bayleaf Intramuros, Manila, Philippines, and will also be available online via Microsoft Teams.
About the Training
This two-day technical workshop is designed for structural engineers in the Philippines, particularly those involved in public infrastructure projects. It will provide hands-on training on modern structural design and seismic retrofitting techniques using industry-leading software.
- Day 1 (March 25, 2025) – Connection design using IDEA StatiCa, covering both basic and complex connections, with integration into STAAD.Pro by Bentley Systems.
- Day 2 (March 26, 2025) – Seismic assessment and retrofitting of existing reinforced concrete buildings using SeismoBuild, including seismic isolation modelling techniques.
