This is a 5-storey existing building that is being used as a hotel. The building was built in the early 1970’s and, apart small and lightly reinforced members, it features significant deficiencies (significant lack of stirrups) at the ground floor level. The strengthening scheme involved new shear walls and RC jackets. Two SeismoBuild models are provided. For the original and the strengthened structure. The model was created by Alfakat S.A.
