Program: Seismostruct
This section showcases complete structural models, categorized by the software used for their development (SeismoBuild or SeismoStruct). You can download the project files for each model and open them directly in the corresponding software on your computer to explore the modeling process, parameter settings, and analysis results firsthand.
This consists of 20 independent stick models of varying stiffness and strength properties. The models are made up of link elements which act as isolators. The user can see how the different models respond to the input excitation – an east-west component of the M7.3 Taiwan SMART1(45) event. Hysteretic curves exhibit the expected behaviour. The model was created by Timothy E. Huff of the Tennessee Tech University.
