Hi!
I have done a pushover analysis of a steel cantilever beam. It has a rectangulae fiber section.
multiplying curvature by EI I get the moment...but it's not the same moment calculated by seismostruct. Why?

Hi,
- curvatures are calculated at the integration sections, whilst moments are computed for the end sections.
- in the inelastic range, use of elastic EI is not necessarily correct.
