Greetings,
I have a question regarding the Mander concrete model. How is the peak stress in compression for the confined concrete calculated in SeismoStruct? I conducted a comparatory analysis of a RC column with an incrementally increasing vertical load (in compression) and the result of the peak stress for the concrete core does not match the one that is recommended by Mander et al. [1988], for confined concrete. Id be more than grateful if somebody could provide some insight in this?
Kind regards
Leart

Dear leartt,
Please take a look at: Mander, J., Priestley, M., and Park, R. (1988). "Theoretical Stress-Strain Model for Confined Concrete." J. Struct. Eng., 10.1061/(ASCE)0733-9445(1988)114:8(1804), 1804-1826.
