Dear Seismosoft team:
My doubt is, it can apply with Sismosignal a filter on datas already filtered?.I explain the data is filtered from other software, but when passing them to SeishISESIGNAL the displacement and the velocity graph tend to infinity, this is fixed with a new filter.
Best regard
Filter datas.
Re: Filter datas.
You may need to tweak the frequency ranges over which filtering is performed or the baseline correction basis, but you should be able to eliminate velocity and displacement drifts with properly selected parameters using SeismoSignal.
On the other hand, if you believe the data has already been properly corrected and filtered, simply uncheck the boxes for "Apply Baseline Correction" and "Apply Filtering" on the "Baseline Correction and Filtering" tab after the file has been loaded. SeismoSignal will then use the data as entered.
Finally, make certain you have specified the appropriate data format for "Input File Parameters" when you initially open the accelerogram. Otherwise, the software will mix time values and acceleration values.
