Hello,
I am currently performing a Response Spectrum Analysis with a structure with infill walls. However it seems that the infills do not get recognized. The natural periods seem to be correct, but the evaluated displacements are higher than without the infill which is not what I expected.
Is this a known issue and is there a way to solve this problem?
Thanks!

Re: Infill wall in RSA
Note that the infills are also increasing the mass of the structure.
Note also that their effect in the stiffness is negligible in the direction perpendicular to their plane.
Hence, indeed in the out of plane direction the displacement might increase.

Thank you for your answer!
However the displacement in plane direction of the infill panels is increasing as well.

Re: Infill wall in RSA
Hello 1318,
We have checked the program and indeed there was a bug in RSA, the mass of the infills is considered, however their stiffness is not considered.
We have fixed the bug and it will be corrected in the next release of the programs. Further, we have sent you an email with guidelines on how to download a fixed version of the program, so that you can continue your analyses.
Apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for this bug report.
