Error in Processor when modelling strut

Post by gemini »

Hi,

While Modelling infill wall as a strut using truss element, It is showing the following Error:

"Wrong confinement factor value encountered in procedure SectStfCon_ma"

I don't know how to attach the picture in the forum.

Anyway, When I model strut in older versions as a concrete material, it used to run properly. But in Version 7. 0.3 it is showing this error even If i am making a brand new file.

Thanks for the help

Dear Gemini,

You have possibly assigned a concrete model in a steel section. You may either use an elastic material model or use the rcrs section without reinforcement.
