modelling damaged column

I have made a column. and then applied pushover on it. now i want to simulate the cracked or damaged column , then how to model repairing of that damaged column, and at last I have to wrap CFRP ?

You should really consult the extensive literature on the topics you mention (carry out online searches, or visit your local Library), as well as read the User Manual and Verification Report of SeismoStruct.

In addition, do search for guidance on previous posts in this Forum, where plenty of very useful hints&tips already exist.

This will be much more fun and rewarding than simply having someone telling you what to do step by step.

Thanks Rui ..... Actually my work in on two parts. one without cracked column and other with crack one. First part is done .... but for crack one i will search as u advised.

Thanks, your query is now much more clear to me (I have thus also taken the liberty of changing the title of this discussion, since your doubts regard not the modelling of cracking (which is what I initially thought, hence my previous response), but rather the modelling of a damaged element).

There are several possibilities to achieve your modelling goals, one of which may be to run successive pushovers (using 'Static Time-History Analysis') or successive nonlinear dynamic analyses. If you search this Forum for "Static Time-History Analysis" or "Cyclic Pushover", you will find some further hints.

You may then also use the 'Element Activation/Deactivation' feature to model the introduction of repairing measures on a damaged element. Again, if you search this Forum for "Activation" or "Repair", you find some good discussions.
