need I consider the wall and floor gravity

Hello, I want to Know whether I have to add additional gravity load on the beam in consideration with floor and wall of real building through dmass element setting, Thanks

Hi arrow66. You may either do as you say and add distributed mass elements to account for objects not explicitly modeled. Another option is to add the mass to the section which defines the beams. In the "Sections" tab where you created the various cross-sectional properties, you will see a "Mass and Geometrical Characteristics" tab within which you may specify added distributed mass on a particular section.
