It should be possible to use ASTM bar size numbers regardless of the system of units chosen by the user. This would be particularly useful for users in Latin America, where the US nomenclature and sizes are used extensively.
Alternatively, you could make it possible for "user bars" to be created, by specifing the diameter only, and giving it a name. This user bar could then be availale in all the dialogs where bar input is required!
A similar thing goes for ASTM predefined material properties for concrete, reinforcing steel (ASTM A-706 and ASTM A-615), but mainly for structural steel (ASTM A-992, ASTM A-36, ASTM A572 Gr. 50, etc.).
Of course we are aware that all this may be overcome with the general material option and add bar option, but users in LatAm should be given the consideration! [;)]
Thank you guys!
