Adimensional Time History Curves

Post by Salvatore Vera »

Hi
I've different adimensional [1/g] ground acceleration curves (in text files) for my Time History analysis.
when I apply the load, the software ask me a curve multiplier.
So I've to set this value egual to the gravity acceleration or not??
Thanks

That's right Salvatore. When you apply the load, the multiplier should be set equal to the acceleration of gravity in the current system of units.
