hello
i have problem in defining "FAP" load in program
1.in "applied loading" part ,what should i define?incremental load or permanent load?
2.in "loading phase" part ,what should i define?'adaptive load control' or 'adaptive response control'?
i tested a model with incremental load in "applied loading" and adaptive response control in "loading phase" but when i started analysis program gave me warning that load phase terminated !
i do not know what is my wrong?
please tell me what should i do
thank

Mohamad, I think if you do a forum search on "adaptive" or "pushover" or "adaptive pushover", you will get some good information.
The Help System is also good on this topic.
And using the Wizard to create an Adaptive Pushover model would likely clear some things up for you. You could just change the analysis type to Adaptive Pushover and accept all other defaults and glean quite a lot from that I believe.
Best of luck Mohamad.

Re: force base adaptive pushover
Mohamad Reza,
In principle, the approach you describe (increment load + adaptive response control) is correct, but clearly you have made one or more modelling errors.
Please do follow the Help System instructions closely, in order to make sure that no errors are present in your model.
