Inertia and Damping Force Plots

Post by huffte »

When I plot the inertia and damping forces in the post-processor 'Global Response Parameters', the title of the plot does not change when I change to toggle from 'Inertia' to 'Damping'. The title of the plot remains 'Global Damping Forces' whether 'Damping' or 'Inertia' is selected. The values on the plot do change and look reasonable. It is simply that the plot title remains 'Global Damping Forces' even when 'Inertia' is selected. If the user is not paying attention, he/she may get a false sense of the level of damping forces, i.e., when 'Inertia' is selected, the plot still reads 'Global Damping Forces', so the user may mistakenly believe the plot is for damping forces.

Dear Tim,

Thank you for reporting the bug (and of course your continuous help). It will be fixed in the next SeismoStruct release, which we are planning to publish very soon.

Warm Regards,
