Post by adhikarir »

Dear friends,
Can I extract the Section Curvature results in SeismoBatch?

Unfortunately, this option is not available at the moment.

Thank you, I got it.
I have another question.
Why can not I see the Curvature of Plastic Hinge Elements under Frame Element Curvature?

This happens in the inelastic plastic-hinge displacement-based frame element (infrmDBPH), where the frame elements curvatures are calculated before the analysis and no integration process is taking place. During the analysis are used the initially calculated diagrams.

Dear sir/madam,
I need to extract the maximum curvature in the infrmDBPH element, which I can not see in the frame element curvature list. Please suggest me how can I extract it.

Ádhikarir hi,

With the current release of SeismoStruct it is not possible to extract the curvatures for inelastic displacement-based, plastic-hinge elements. You may use the more accurate inelastic force-based, plastic-hinge element (infrmFBPH).
