Hi everyone,
i need to model a 5 storie building with short walls and slabs. Is there any possibility to model a slab in seismostruct? I would not need a specific analysis of the slab, but the stiffness and the dispensation of the forces...
Kind Regards,
René

Dear René,
With respect to the previous discussions on this topic (search for "slab" and/or "diaphragm" in this Forum) and the indications found in the Help System, what additional piece of information are you missing, precisely?

Re: slab
I'm actually interested if I am able to let seismostruct compute the vertical forces for the shear walls by itself.
The nodal constrains i already integrated in the system.
thanks rene

Re: slab
Which vertical forces are you referring to? Those corresponding to the walls self-weight and/or to additional mass applied to your model? If so, then, yes, as discussed in the Help System (see e.g. 'Project Settings' -> 'Gravity & Mass'), this is indeed possible. Seismosoft Support
