SeismoDev

Post by Adam HORVATH »

Dear Seismostruct Team!

I would like to know, how can I enter my experimental datas into SeismoDev. The programm always says, that "Time values should be in ascending order". How can I change to Moment-rotation view?

Thank you in advance!

Or I can only enter Time-Force datas? It is possible to enter more than 10000 datas? Because I should enter 28000 datas, but always stops the program.

SeismoDev always accepts as input Time-displacement (or Time-Rotation which is equivalent) pairs. The reason for this is simply the way these models work in SeismoStruct (and other FE packages). They accept strains/displacements/rotations and they output stresses/forces/moments.

Note that seismoDev is simply a platform for the creation of models in SeismoStruct.

Note also that the time values, should be in ascending order, i.e. T1=0.01, T2=0.02, T3=0.03, T4>T3, T5>T4...
