Hi,
I am running a dynamic analysis for a 2-D, two storey regular frame structure, for an earthquake record with duration of 20 second and with time step dt=0.01 second (2000 step).
It's possible in seismostruct to run a dinamic analysis applying different time hystorys (for 1 node each storeys) composed of displacements rather than acceleration?

Re: Displacement time-hystory
Hi Dany,
You obviously cannot run dynamic analyses using displacement time-histories as input (read some of the textbooks indicated in the Help System to understand why).
If you wish to run, instead, static time-history analysis, you may certainly apply different time-histories to different nodes, again as explained in the Help System.
