multiple supports excitation
Can this soft solve multiple supports excitation problems?

Re: multiple supports excitation
Yes, of course; it is simply a case of assigning input motion to more than one support node. Please do give a thorough read to the Help System, if you have not done so yet, and create also some Wizard models to better learn your way around.

Re: multiple supports excitation
could you please provide the formulation of the problem or give the reference (I ask because input in Seismostruct is in the form of acceleration t-h and not displacement t-h).

Marta,
We are not sure we understand your query, but suggest in any case you to carry out a literature search and review on the topic of asynchronous input motion - there are plenty of publications out there.

Re: multiple supports excitation
Maybe I didn't formulate the question properly.
In the case of multi-support input motions, it is necessary to formulate the problem in terms of the absolute ground
motions at the different supports. So, does the program itself integrate acceleration input to obtain velocity and displacement t-h?
Thanks!

Re: multiple supports excitation
Yes, correct, that is indeed what the software does.
