It would be of a great help if more flexibility were built into the program regarding the reading of time history inputs.
Specifically, it would be great if one could specify a starting line of the text file, a time increment, and the number of acceleration values per line.
Many records I acquire from COSMOS and PEER and other sources are in a similar format.

Re: Time History Records
Dear Huffte,
Thanks for the suggestion.
You can specify already the starting line of the text file in SeismoStruct, whilst the other capabilities are indeed missing.
We do have in your plans to introduce in SeismoStruct the same type of records input module present in SeismoSignal, which we feel would address the needs you mention in your message, right?
Whilst you wait for us to manage to carry out such implementation, you could perhaps make us of SeismoSignal or SeismoSpect to transform the COSMOS and PEER accelerograms into a format that is readily handed by SeismoStruct.
Thanks again,

Yes. I believe your suggestion will work fine. I tried SeismoSpect. It will open my PEER files with no problem. I can then select all of the data which has been read, copy and paste it into a new text file which is readable by SeismoStruct.
Thank you for the tip. It will save me a lot of time manipulating text files.
