Tie element

Hi,

I would like design a braced frame. I looking for a tie element because tie element is a two-noded element with axial stiffness only. A tie will have zero stiffness under compressive forces. Which element in seismostruc can allow me to have a zero stiffness under compressixe forces. I plan to desing that frame with RSS as a flat member.

Try using 'truss' elements coupled with 'link' elements that transmit tension forces only.
