Basement

Hello.

I would like to ask about the basement at seismobuild. If i use as a floor to be basement what are the assumptions made by the program? Are some nodes restricted ; The mass of the elements of the basement are not zero though. Must i place shear walls at the perimeter or it is not required?

The basement nodes are restricted by the model components (e.g. rigid diaphragms of the slabs). If there are shear walls in your building, you need to model them.
