Hello,
I would like to ask, if it is possible in Seismostruct to define a semi-rigid diphragm and not a constrain for all the nodes of each level. In addition, if a column starts from the base level to level 2, without connected with a floor (diaphragm) in level 1, for the seismostruct is considered as 1 beam or 2 beams. This assumption is critical, if it is considered as 1 beam, the bending moment digramm has only one zero point, but if it is considered as 2 beam, the bending moment digramm has 2 zero points.
Thank you!

Re: Diaphragm
You can define semi-rigid diaphragms either with the shell4 element or with the rigid diaphragm with reduced stiffness coefficients (see Program Settings).
I am not sure I understood your second question. The bending moment diagrams are determined by the program, thus the zero moments are calculated based on the deformed state of the model; l I would presume that there is one zero moment point. Regarding the checks, these are carried out per structural element.
