Envelope shape by accelerogram

I am curious about the process through which the envelope is generated when using acceleration data. Additionally, if there is a formula used for this generation, I would appreciate it if you could share that as well.

In some of the employed methods (e.g. Artificial Accelerogram Generation) the envelope shape is input by the user. In others (e.g. Synthetic Accelerogram Generation & Adjustment) the envelope shape is provided by the algorithm. You need to check the help system of the program and the methodology of each algorithm for more specific details.
