Why does sometimes in a static pushover analysis the node being controlled indicated in the processor isn't the one defined in the pre-processor?
In my case, the node I set to be controlled is located at the top floor and it's the master node of the diaphragm. It's also connected to a column. In the processor, it's indicated that the node being controlled is one located immediately below (at that same column). I've tried to run the analysis a number of times but the error persists and the controlled node is always the same. This happens when I choose the automatic response control option.

Re: Controlled node in pushover analysis
André,
This is not an error but rather an intentional feature. Indeed, in automatic response control, the control node (and dof) is automatically chosen by the program, for the reasons described in the Help System. Please do refer to the latter for further explanations and guidance.
