Capacity curve

Hello!

After the Pushover Analysis (Greek seismic code KANEPE) i have the next Capacity Curve



From Appendix H5 - KANEPE and from KANEPE i know that we mast have approximately equal areas above and below the dotted lines, like in image below



Why do i have different result?

Dear sanya greek,

The program tries to cover the requirements 1)for α<=1 and 2)for approximately equal areas. The algorithm fulfils the 1st requirement first and then tries to find the best solution to fulfil the 2nd requirement. Probably, if you try to run further the analysis and have a declining branch in your curve, the algorithm will find a better solution for the second requirement.
