Μetal mesh (grid)

Hello!

I have a building and in some places between columns and beams i put infill panels.

Now, i want to put metal mesh (grid) on exterior side of infill panel.
Image

How can i do it?

Dear sanya greek,

You should modify the infill's properties to account for both existing infill and additional metal mesh.

If i understand right, i need to account by hand the properties of wall with metal mesh and after to put the results into properties of infill panel?

Dear sanya greek,

That's right. In the current version of SeismoStruct there is not another way to model the infills' strengthening.

May be in my case i can do something with masonry element?

Probably yes, though the masonry element are for the modelling of bearing walls.
