Hello!
I have done pushover analysis on my building and now i want to transform the curve of target displacement into ADRS.
For that i need:
masses of each store (floor).
eigenvalue of building.
What i mast to do?
I did eigenvalue analysis for this building, but i see only nodal displacements and nodal masses. Can i see in programm the necessary data grouped by stores?
If no, is it possible to take the center of mass on each floor?
Thank you so much!
Masses of stores (floors)
Re: Masses of stores (floors)
Once a static pushover analysis has been completed and you go to the post-processor, you should immediately see a number of results tabs, the second of which is "Eigenvalue Results".
The "Eigenvalue Results" tab has two sub-tabs - "Modal Periods and Frequencies" and "Nodal Masses".
Eigenvalues (square of circular frequencies) are readily available on the "Modal Periods and Frequencies" sub-tab.
If you strategically name nodes according to floor then you can easily copy and paste from "Nodal Masses" sub-tab into Excel and sum the masses in each direction at each floor.
I hope this helps get you going, sanya greek.

Thank you Tim Huff!
One more question:
Yesterday when I was looking for masses, i did the following. In Pre-Processor i selected Eigenvalue Analysis and made analysis. After i saw nodal masses and took them for my analysis by exel. All that i did with the loads on each element (in Applied Loads i put the forces by element loads).
Later i did the same without element loads and take the same masses and periods!!! So i understood that in my Eigenvalue analysis the forces didn't take into account.
What i mast to do?
Thank you so much!!!

Dear sanya greek,
As it is written in the "Loading" section of chapter "Quick Start" of SeismoStruct's User Manual: "Eigenvalue analysis. Self-weight of the structure is considered. No loading is applied."
