Dear Seismosoft,
I am trying a simple example with Static Pushover analysis on 3 storey-3 bay frame with different types of frame elements which are: DB, FB and FBPH (each one only is an element). They give different results in: postions of first hinges, mechanism (crushing of concrete, soft storey or sway - mechanism...), total base shear and especially in resistance of sections when compared to codes.
In addition, when I divide the frame elements into smaller ones, the results are also changed much.
I don't know why and could you please give me an explaination?
Best regards

Dear PhungNgocDung,
This is not a straightforward topic. We thus strongly advise you to carefully read the extensive literature on the subject, indicated in the Help System, to understand better the differences between element formulations and how they can be (or not) compared between one and another.
