Steel/composite beam-column joints

Post by user »

How can I model the cyclic response of steel/composite beam-column joints, including the effects of slippage?

You may employ a link element featuring the modified Richard-Abbott response curve hysteretic model, which caters for the modelling of all sorts of steel and composite connections (e.g. welded-flange bolted-web connection, extended end-plate connection, flush end-plate connection, angle connection, etc.) and also for the effects of joint slippage.
