Dear Sirs,
I have to model a series of cables between to reinforced concrete wall. Therefore I am trying to set a Link with a gap_hk between two coincident nodes at one end of each cable-element. Unfortunately, while trying to set up the link connectivity for some of these elements, I have encountered the following error: nodes 1&2 should coincide initially
I have checked carefully and I was not able to find any mistakes in the nodes' definition. Is there any other reason why the software should give me this kind of warning?
Regards,
PM

Re: Element Connectivity: Link
Dear paolomart,
Please check your nodes' coordinates. The nodes you use to define the link element should have exactly the same coordinates in X, Y, Z directions.

Re: Element Connectivity: Link
Thank you very much for the quick answer.
Unfortunately they absolutely do have the same coordinates: I have been defining the additional node copy/pasting the original node.
