Related to material models

Hello. I am doing pushover analysis of RC frame but i am confused while selecting steel model which model should i used whether pinto steel model or bilinear steel model . so please can anybody help me?? It will be very beneficial to me for doing project.......

Dear mangesh shendkar,

The material model that you should use depends on your model and the assumptions that you want to make. Hence, you should probably discuss it with your supervisor. The program's default selection is the Menegotto-Pinto model for steel.
