PT FRP modeling

Post by imadD »

Seismosoft thank you for the amazing development under gone recently.

How can we model post tension-ed FRP in beam and/or wall elements.
if not now may be in future development.
FRP is been widely used and SeismoSoft is the wright ( may be only )
choice to use .

Hi Imad,

I suggest that you carry out a search on this Forum using the term "prestress", which will lead you to a number of past discussions on the modelling of post-tension tendons (not necessarily FRP, but rather steel; however, the modelling approach would be the same, with only the material type changing).

Best,

Rui
