Unconfined concrete in walls

Post by Kant1977 »

I am performing a pushover analysis for a reinforced concrete wall with a single layer of steel and no boundary elements. Since there are no confined concrete, I don´t know how to make de SeismoStruct avoid considering confinement in some areas due to this program only considers two layers of reinforcement and necessarily for this configuration exist confined zones.

Thanks in advance for your help.

In the Sectons module, you can speficy user-defined confinement factors (simply uncheck the corresponding checkbox and define your own value, instead of the automatic values calculated by the program)
