Hi,everyone:
I read others literature found that his Seismostruct has seven types of general concrect material:Trilinear concrete model(con-tl)、Mander et al. nonlinear concrete model(con_ma)、Mander et al. nonlinear concrete model with tension softening(con-ma2)、Chang-Mander nonlinear concrete model(con-cm)、Madas and Elnashai nonlinear concrete model(con-me)、Kappos and Konstantinidis nonlinear concrete model(con-hs)、Nonlinear FRP-confined concrete model(con-frp),but mine only have four type:con_ma、con_tl、con_cm、con_hs。why?Is version problem or because my licesen is academic?
And then I have another question:when define a material, the stress-strain curve show in the right is just a sample plot,so I change the data there is invalid,it can not be solved, then where can I modify the material's parameter, especially stress and strain?
Please help me!
Thank you!
SeismostructV7.0.4 concrect material type setting
Re: SeismostructV7.0.4 concrect material type setting
xinye, hi.
1) I suggest you to check which material models are activated in the Settings ('Constitutive Models' tab).
2) All material input parameters that you may change in the Materials module are then used in the analysis --> you can readily find this out by yourself, by "playing" with the such parameters and then checking the results of different trial runs.
Best,
Rui

ruipinho,hi
First thank you for the suggestion you given! But I have check the Settings ('Constitutive Models' tab),all the material models are activated. So I want to know is version problem or because my licesen is academic?Second,Ihave another question:In a cross section can I set up two kinds of concrete material--core and protective layer with different concrete material model respectively.

Re: SeismostructV7.0.4 concrect material type setting
Dear xinye,
Some material models have been removed from version 7 onwards, mainly because they were not entirely stable. The eleven material models available in SeismoStruct enable you to create an unlimited number of different materials to cover the modelling requirements.
One concrete material type is applied in the reinforced concrete sections, taking into consideration the confinement effects provided by the lateral transverse reinforcement.
In the jacketed reinforced concrete section, you may apply different concrete and steel material types for the core and the jacket.
You may refer to SeismoStruct User Manual and Help System for further information.
