Hello!
The displacement-based adaptive pushover analysis, described by [Antoniou and Pinho, 2004b] does not correspond to adaptive pushover, type of scaling: displacement-based scaling, applied loading : constant pattern of displacement AND adaptive response control, so as to include a target dispacement point? Could you please explain to me why "Response control cannot be employed in conjunction with displacement incremental loads. Load control should be used in such cases."?
Thank you very much,
Danae

Re: Non applicable response control&displacement loads
Dear Danae,
If you are applying displacements as incremental loading, then you are already controlling displacements, hence 'response control' becomes redundant and unfeasible.
