IDA/Damping/element

<t>Hello<br/>
I have modeled 3D RC frame structures with infrmFBPH(30% plastic length) & my analysis is IDA, I have 3 questions:<br/>
1-Is it possible in Seismostruct to change record automatically, i.e. I have 20 records with different scaling factor & I want when software finish first record ,it ...

Re: Yield Base Shear

Hi
if you want to calculate yield base shear of your structure you should do pushover analysis & then you should bilinear its capacity curve respect to FEMA356 rules

Re: static analysis(non-variable load)

Thanks
yes I did it but with this size of loading most of them are yielding no collapse.
if you check my model you can see it.

static analysis(non-variable load)

<t>I modeled 4storey RC frame in seismostruct and I want to static analysis(non-variable load) but when I use infrmFB I encounter to problem of convergence but in the cases of elfrm or infrmDB I dont have any problem. but I want to use infrmFB what should I do?<br/>
and this is my model<br/>

Calculate Mass & Damage Index

I need to calculate mass of structure, can seismostruct calculate its mass & mass of each story(& how)?
another question is: can seismostruct calculate directly any damage-index(e.g. Park & Ang or (Bertero & bozorgnia preferably ) like IDARC software)??

error in file of Ch2-12.spf

<t>With respect<br/>
I have a problem when I run computer file of Ch2-12.spf (Verification report of Seismostruct V.6) I encounter to “ zero diagonal terms encountered at the following nodes: node28&29” error<br/>
Please check it again & I was wondering if send it to my mail<br/>
Thanks in advance ...
