Thank you very much!!

Re: bracing-friction damper system
<t>Yes I've checked up all the nodes of link elements and I've made mistakes in the elements connectivity, now they work correctly!

Another question, there's a way to counting the value of energy dissipation during the hysteretic cycles of link elements??
bracing-friction damper system
<t>Hi
I'm trying to model bracing-friction damper system for seismic retrofitting an industrial bulding.
The system is very simple,it's comprised of one inner steel plate and two outer brass and steel plates.
Friction forces of the damper are produced in faying surfaces between brass ...

Adimensional Time History Curves
Hi
I've different adimensional [1/g] ground acceleration curves (in text files) for my Time History analysis.
when I apply the load, the software ask me a curve multiplier.
So I've to set this value egual to the gravity acceleration or not??
Thanks

Modelling an industrial bulding
<t>I'm using the software SeismoStruct for analysing an industrial building and his dynamic behavior.
THe bulding has:
-1 Storey height: 5.7m
-2 Bays lenght: 24.7m
-8 frames spacing: 8.7m
I am using for the first time the software, it is my second day. I had some doubts ...
