Seismosignal 5.1.0 download
Hello,
I have a question regarding the version 5.1.0. Can it still be downloaded somewhere?
I have a big problem, because I deleted msi file and now I cannot uninstall it or install a new version.
Best regards,
Marta

Re: constraint defintion module
Many thanks to Seismosoft support and also to Tim!
I was really curious why Lagrange Multipliers ("conceptually superior") lead to numerical difficulties in my model, but I will read some more literature to be clear about it.
Best regards!

Re: constraint defintion module
hello seismostruct,
is there any chance that I send you my model (very simple one) to check what is wrong with the constraints? I am very curious about it...

Re: constraint defintion module
Thank you very much for your answer. I will try to do what you recommended and if it still won't work properly, I will model connections as very stiff beams.
Best regards!

Re: constraint defintion module
<t>Hello,<br/>

I also have problems with constraints - rigid links.<br/>
I am modelling an arch bridge. In the model arch is defined as one beam while the piers above arch are eccentrical to it, so I have to connect them somehow. When I use rigid link (arch node is master, and base nodes of ...

Re: multiple supports excitation
could you please provide the formulation of the problem or give the reference (I ask because input in Seismostruct is in the form of acceleration t-h and not displacement t-h).

Re: Defining target spectrum - damping
<t>I am sorry, I was absent for some time.<br/>

So, I wanted to match vertical components of ground motion to vertical EC spectra with 2% damping. How is it possible? If I load spectrum from file, it seems that during matching it is automatically assumed that my loaded spectrum is spectrum ...

Defining target spectrum - damping
Hello,
I am trying to define vertical target spectrum EC8 with 2% damping. Is it possible or predefined value is 5%? I tried to change it in Settings but it seems it has no effect.
Thank you in advance for help!
