How to Model Bridge Decks?

I've modelled a full bridge but I couldn't model the Deck and girders properly.. I modelled them as T-Beams but the Eigenvalue analysis doesn't understand that these beams are together.. I've tried to constrain the nodes in the XY Plane but that didn't help.. any ideas?

Dear humam2104,
You may find a number of bridge models in SeismoStruct's Verification report and SeismoStruct Sample models available in
https://seismosoft.com/seismobuild-seis ... le-models/
If you decide that the T-Beams is the best solution for your model, then you may need to apply the proper constraint type to make these beams have the proper behaviour.

Thx, that was really helpful.
If anyone is wondering how to do this then feel free to check this picture:

The verification examples contain another way of doing this in the directory
