Hi,
Thank you very much for your reply and advise sir,
I am modeling a Reinforced concrete (rectangular section) column; strengtheing with FRP wrapping. I am doing Dynamic time-history analysis. I use the following properties and section.
Add Material Class: reinforcement-S420, concrete-C16/20.
Section: Reinforced concrete rectangular section (RCRS) and Edit FRP Wrapping, select SİKAWRAP Hex 103 C (1 Layer)
Element classes: elastic frame element(elfrm)
Constraints: Add Rigid Diaphragm
Is it True or false?
Please could help me to understand the topic.
Thanks

Given that you are using elastic frame elements (elfrm) I don't expect that the FRP wrap is doing much of anything. Refer to comments from Seismosoft above regarding the effect of the FRP wrap to enhance confinement and shear resistance.

It isn't clear what you are modeling, but have you tried inelastic frame force-based elements of displacement-based elements, rather than elastic frame elements? Just a thought.
