Dear pedramshahdoust,

1) what do you mean with "friction story"? If you mean "friction pendulum systems", you may employ link elements with the adoption of a plastic curve (for details refer to the Help System of the program);
2) pin-end connections can be modelled again by using "link elements". Please, refer to the Help System of the program (in particular to the Notes in the "Link elements" page).

Dear seismosoft and fbianchi
In previous releases of SeismoStruct, link elements featuring a lin_sym response curve were typically employed to model pinned joints (zero stiffness) but now we can use equal dof.
ihave problem in this part which when i do it then when i want to run this warning occurs "zero diagonal encountered"these zero diagonal are which i equal dof them.
I look forward to hearing from you

Dear pedramshahdoust,

I'm sure there are past posts on this matter. Search the Forum for “zero diagonal”.
