FRP debonding

Post by fakharifar.mostafa »

Dear SeismoStruct Developres

As it is mentioned in the manual of seismostruct Ver 5.0 highlighted as Future developments regarding to new features which are planned to be included in this package, I suggest “CONSIDERATION OF FRP DEBONDING” between concrete nodes and frp layers.
In the current version I think perfect bond between concrete and frp nodes are applied. It would be marvelous if probable debonding between frp and concrete could be employed through mathematical formulations.

Dear Mostafa,

Thank you for your suggestion. Whilst the development you refer to is currently not in our short-term implementation plans, we will certainly keep it in mind, especially if an external developer assists in the process.
