Your question is extremely general, which leaves us with no alternative but to provide you with an equally general answer: read the Help System, and check your model for errors.

Hi there..

I got a problem with using a dynamic time-history analysis..

when i tried to run it, the error 'no dynamic time-history loads'. I try to search n read the help system, but i not get any of it.

Thanks or your help.

I already found the answer. Thank you

Btw, i got another question about the the error appear during the analysis. Its come out with this error

'I/O error 112' <---- i dont understand what it meant

Thanks

Another question about dynamic time history analysis :

1) if possible to set a rayleigh damping more than 2 mode as show in Project Setting. Can it analysis for more than 2 mode?

1) if i analysis the structure. How i can set its for mode 1 or mode 2 in the output.

Thanks..

We ran your model in two different systems and could not reproduce the misbehaviour you describe, hence there must be an issue with your system.

1) no, it is not.
2) we do not understand the question.

Hi Seismosoft,

I already send you back the modelling with attachment. The error come out when you setting the fracture strain to active (I set-up in project setting).

If you dont mind to look again.

My next question is,

1) In Dynamic tome history analysis, how can i generate the plastic hinges like in pushover curve. I already defined it in performace criteria.

2) It possible to have a graph or data for mode shape 1 and mode shape 2?Do i need to setting anything to view a mode shape 1 or mode shape 2.

3) For the time history can we adjust the PGA, i would like to increase the PGA until the structure is collapse.

Thanks..

Seismosoft,

Sorry, another question from me, from Dynamic times history analysis, how can i plot force-displacement hyterstic curve. Where can i detect the collapse load and plastic hinges as refer to my question before.

Thanks..

Hi,

Final queston from :

1) in Dynamic time history analysis, i would like to plot hysteretic curves like takeda or bilinear model.

I already assingned a link elemnt in element class section.

Then how seismostruc to plot those model? I alreadu process the records, i not sure how (or any trick/button to click to prodce the plot).

I already read the manual/help system but still dont have any idea about it.

Thanks..
