Hi gmenichini,

Your observations appear to be in-line with what I would expect (i.e. the higher the geometric nonlinearity, the more refined the mesh needs to be).

Indeed, if you look at the Verification Report Chapter 3 examples, you will realise that detailed meshing is required in order to obtain reliable results for highly geometrically nonlinear cases.
