Dear support team
is there any example file of adaptive static pushover analysis available?
Best regards

Re: adaptive static pushover
- I model a simple 2D (1 bay 1 story) frame and use adaptive static pushover analysis. restraining all DOFs in supports and also all DOFs but x direction for upper nodes. I get this error message when i click Run tab: "Unable to apply the entire phase load. Phase terminated". Assigning a rigid link to the upper nodes in case 1 and a rigid diaphragm in case 2. how could I dictate the software to run the analysis just considering the x direction translational degree of freedom.
- in case of 3D frames what is the appropriate number of eigenvalues (in the eigenvalue tab options)?

Dear morteza tahmasbi,
Have you tried creating an adaptive pushover model with the Wizard facility? That should hopefully be very informative.
For what concerns the appropriate number of eigenvalues, users typically choose this in such a way that sufficient modal mass gets modelled.
