Dear seismostruct
You can have an icon for importing different type steel sections properties from SAP2000 or ETABS as a ".xml" file for linear element, beside using EA,EI,GJ or having a section designer.

We will consider your suggestions, although supporting the output format of another program is not very appealing, since the format may change without notice.
In any case, note that the creation of a section designer both for steel, composite and RC sections is in out to-do-list.

Dear sir,
It is one of best ways to defining section properties without having a section desinger.
For "since the format may change without notice", you set your import text as constant version like Etabs 2013.
