Installation on Mac or Linux Operative Systems
Is it possible to run SeismoStruct on alternative Operative Systems, such as Mac, Linux, etc?

At SeismoSoft, we do not currently have the human resources necessary to build native applications for other Operative Systems.
Hence, in order to run SeismoStruct in platforms such as Mac or Linux, you should employ Windows emulators (e.g. VMware, Crossover, Parallels, etc).
We have tried to run SeismoStruct in a MacBook using both VMware and Crossover. With the former, all went well (we continue to use it). With the latter, on the other hand, incompatibilities with the licensing algorithm prevented the use of our software. We thus recommend the employment of VMware.

Hi,
I have recently installed SeismoStruct on a MacBook Pro running Parallels, and all worked well (actually, even better than with VMWare, which is very resource demanding).
Hence, I would personally recommend the use of Parallels.
Best,
Rui
