dear sismostruct support
I'm a bit puzzled about the difference between results stored in the file.out and the one obtained through the interface for truss elements.
differences are enormous.
On my model, forces in file.out are scaled at X.E6kN and displacement at Y.E1 m
hopefully through the program interface, I've got reasonable values scaled at X kN and displacements at Y.E-5m.
this bug is just noticed for truss elements, for frame elements, results are strictly identical between file.out and the interface.
would you have any idea to solve this ? Thanks in advance.

Dear Richard,
Thank you for reporting this text output bug, which we will correct in the next release of SeismoStruct.
Thanks again.

Re: truss output forces and displacements
Hi,
I had noticed this same problem in static pushover analysis, but as Richard said, in the interface for truss elements, results for forces and displacements seemed reasonable so there wasn't really a problem.
However, I'm now performing dynamic analysis in the same model and for some reason, in the "Truss forces and Deformations" folder I get "Nan" values for both forces and displacements of some (not all) truss elements. In the "Step Output" folder I get huge forces and displacements in all the truss elements. I find this strange because I'm using a model that worked well in static analysis (apart from the erroneous values in the "Step Output" folder)and specially because it only happens in some of the elements. In the other truss elements I get good force vs displacement plots.

Re: truss output forces and displacements
André, thanks.
We will be releasing a new version of SeismoStruct within the next couple of weeks or so, which corrects the bug reported by Richard. Hopefully, such version will also correct the issue you reported (if there is indeed a bug).
In any case, if you send us your model, with an indication of the elements featuring the unexpected output, we will have a look at it, and, if a bug is indeed present, we will correct it as well for the upcoming release.
Thanks again,
