hi, i'm lorenzo i'm working alone on seismo struct for my graduation thesis but is not easy to get working on it,
1) wich is the function of the nodal constraint function?
2)if i want to apply a force with a sinusoidal trend what i have to do?
3)wich is the equivalent in this program of the "u" traslation?
thank you

Hi Lorenzo,
In order to understand all the capabilities of the software i recommend you to consult the help system. I am sure you can find there the answers for most of you questions.
Regarding your questions:
As the name indicates, nodal constraints allows you to constraint some nodes with respect to others. They are typically used to model rigid diaphragm effects, rigid links...
In order to apply a sinusoidal force, you might select a "static time-hstory analysis", and define the loads you want.
Can you be more specific with the "u" translation?
Cheers,
Romain

thank you very much , yes for the "u" traslation my question was, how i can see the results of the displacement born from the forces? (because in italian "u" is the displacement)
